I am writing to you, because I am preparing for the upcoming primary  election of June 3, 2008.

On Tuesday January 1st, 2008, I announced my intention to run for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 12th Congressional District. I have lived in the 12th District since 1966. I attended Saint John's, a superb university in Queens, New York on a athletic scholarship, from which I graduated with a  degree in marketing. I also served my country in the United States Army from 1958 to 1964. I fulfilled my military commitment to my country honorably.  

I believe that this a golden opportunity for us republicans to regain control of the 12th Congressional District. After all, history shows that San Mateo County is Republican Country. I also believe that the democratic liberal philosophy of a hand down, may be appropriate in San Francisco but not in San Mateo County. Don't you agree?

I am a conservative in the tradition of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, and as I stated before, "if you like Ike, you will love Mike"
